Funny story - I heard about these torches on Instagram and purchased off what I thought was Wuben. So much to my surprise it was not a torch from Wuben, it was from a bad Chinese knock off company. It was a terrible copy of what is a great product. Anyway I actually really wanted to purchase a real wuben torch, so found Wuben AU and purchased 2 of these little rippers. Wow great design and manufacturing. My wife and I love these pocket rockets. We live in the country and use it most nights. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Water easily gets into this torch a kills it even in Lock mode. DEFINITELY NOT ip68. not even splash proof. Now a blue light is stuck on. An have to muck around with a return process. Not happy as it took over 2 weeks to arrive for my son.
I first heard about the Wuben G5 from a YouTube video. I was a little skeptical, but decided to give it a try — and I’m very impressed. For such a budget-friendly torch, this thing is tiny yet powerful.
The battery life actually matches what’s on the box — I got over 9 hours using it as a flasher. It’s USB-C rechargeable, built solidly with an all-metal casing, and small enough to fit in a fifth pocket (not much bigger than a Zippo). The magnetic base and swivel head are game-changers when you need both hands free.
The RGB modes are fun and practical — red is my favourite for maintaining night vision while getting gear together in the early morning. I also use the flasher mode on night walks. The white beam is surprisingly bright. It’s not a long-range torch (as expected for the size), but it does its job extremely well.
The switch feels like it might be the weak point, but so far it works perfectly. This is my first Wuben light, and it’s already become my everyday carry. Priced well, durable, and does exactly what it says — I even grabbed a second one. I’ll be curious to see how it holds up after a few months of daily use, but so far I’m very happy with this little torch.
This is a really cool little torch. Very light, quite bright for its size and appears very compact and durable. My only complaint was the instructions aren't overly clear. You can work it out but for a tiny bit of extra effort they could be much clearer. Better instructions would have been 5 stars.
The flashlight is very well built, light, and bright. Great little flashlight for an EDC. While for quick small tasks the phone flashlight might suffice, this WUBEN is much brighter and is able to be positioned, either via clip or magnet far easier than trying to manoeuvre and balance a phone light. Great little product and certainly worth the price.
